Agate Natural Slices with Pink Accent Set of Four w/ Stands 7"x 5".  This set of four slices come from the same agate geode and are of high crystal quality with beautiful color variants of white, yellow, pink and black accents.  The set of four weigh about 1 pound total.

Agate is a rock consisting primarily of cryptocrystalline silica, chiefly chalcedony, alternating with microgranular quartz. Agate is characterized by its fineness of grain and variety of color. Agate is a 6.5-7 on the Mohs hardness scale. Although agates may be found in various kinds of host rock, they are classically associated with volcanic rocks and can be common in certain metamorphic rocks. Metaphysically, it is believed that Agate enhances mental function, improves concentration, enhances perception, and analytical abilities.
