Fuchsite w/ Quartz

A stunning specimen! A mass cluster of green Fuchsite with druzy clear quartz and trigonal clear quartz growths on top of the fuchsite. The Fuchsite w/ Quartz specimen measures in length 2.5 inches, height 2.5 inches, and width 1 3/4 inches and weighs 0.295 lbs. 

Fuchsite is a part of the mica crystal family, its green color comes from the natural presence of Chromium in its genetic compound. The color ranges from light to dark green. Fuchsite crystalizes in forms such as layers, scales, masses and tabular crystals. The mineral was first discovered in the early 1800’s and named in honor of the famed German mineralogist Johann Nepomuk von Fuchs. 

Fuchsite is said to increase the energy of other crystals and helps in the transfer of their energy. It shifts energy into positive channels, therefore releasing blockages cautilized by excess energy. Fuchsite is associated with self-determination and open positive emotional expression.
