Angel Aura Quartz is produced when clear Quartz points or clusters go through a special treatment process in which their surfaces are bonded with vaporized or finely powdered platinum, silver or other trace metals. The resulting crystals exhibit silvery surfaces with flashes of brilliant iridescent color. The name Angel Aura Quartz derives from this color's likeness to images of gossamer wings of angels. Other names are ‘Unicorn Aura’ or ‘Opal Aura'. On the Mohs scale it is at a 7 and Angel Aura Quartz can be found in Brazil, Madagascar, and the United States. Metaphysically, Angel Aura is thought to be calming, purifying and uplifting as well as reaching deeper stages of meditation and connecting with Angels
