Blue Topaz Oval Sterling Silver Ring (Sized)

Stone: Topaz, Opal
Materials: Sterling Silver
Size: 5 or 6

Topaz is a silicate mineral of aluminium and fluorine. Topaz is one of the hardest naturally occurring minerals (Mohs hardness of 8) and is the hardest of any silicate mineral. Orange topaz, also known as precious topaz, is the traditional November birthstone, the symbol of friendship, and the state gemstone of Utah. Topaz is thought to encourage self-confidence and help to promote a positive self-image, as well as reduce fears and anxiety.

Opal is a hydrated amorphous form of silica. The internal structure of precious opal causes it to diffract light, resulting in play-of-color. Depending on the conditions in which it formed, opal may be transparent, translucent or opaque and the background color may be white, black or nearly any color of the visual spectrum. Opal is rated between 5.5 and 6 on the Mohs hardness scale.  Opal is thought to increase emotional activity and awaken the sexual center in the body.
