Ice Pyrite and Herkimer Diamond Pendant

These handcrafted Ice Pyrite pendants are complimented with a rough Herkimer Diamond set in a Sterling Silver bezel.  It can be worn at the office or for a night out on the town.

The mineral pyrite, also known as “fool's gold”, is an iron sulfide. Pyrite's metallic luster and pale brass-yellow hue gives it a resemblance to gold, hence the well-known nickname “fool's gold”.  Pyrite is thought to encourage self-recognition, as well as reveal secrets and memories.

Herkimer Diamonds are not actually Diamonds but naturally formed six-sided, double-terminated Quartz crystals. Herkimer Diamonds are often so bright and shiny that they resemble Diamonds. The name comes from Herkimer, New York where these gemstones were originally found.  They are called “attunement stones" and are useful in attuning you with others, your surroundings, or new energies. Herkimer Diamonds make a natural choice to assist in Reiki attunements and other types of energy work.

Each piece is similar, though no item at Crystal Joys is exactly the same as every item uses a unique stone that is non-fabricated.  Every item at Crystal Joys is a true "one of a kind". Slight variations in color, size, and stone shape exist.
