This specimen is is a combo that features clear gemmy barite crystals that are perched upon a sparkling green malachite specimen. All around nice specimen that displays well. From the DR Congo.
Malachite is a deep-green mineral with darker green rings when polished. The rings come from a botryoidal (grape-like) growth structure when polished down. In ancient Egypt, the color green was associated with new life and fertility. Malachite is thought to deepen emotional life, promote adventurousness, and promote power of imagination and decision.
Barite is thought to assist with one's ability in linking us to our highest purpose and higher self. Barite encourages the mind-body connection.
