Blue Chalcedony is a form of quartz that’s microcrystalline and compact while having a 6.5 and 7 on the Mohs scale of hardness. Blue Chalcedony has a vitreous to waxy luster that has a beautiful, inviting translucence. It has a transparent-to-opaque stone that’s colored by traces of copper, manganese, titanium, and iron. Metaphysically, Blue Chalcedony is thought to promote flow, boost presence of mind, and communication with others.
