This hand carved Honeystone Calcite Mountain Range lamp is a perfect statement piece for any home or office. This stunning sculpural lamp is made of a rare form of calcite called Honeycomb Calcite or Honeystone.
Honeystone was discovered in 1995 and comes from a single mountain in Utah – the only source for this type of calcite in existence. It takes its name from the beautiful honey color and the random webbing often resembles a honeycomb and is a great choice for adding a one-of-a-kind touch to your home or business. Being translucent, this stone is perfect for housing candles, sconces and chandeliers, and many other creative lighting ideas. Calcite is one of the most common minerals on earth. It occurs in various shapes and colors such as transparent, white, yellow, brown, orange, red, purple, blue, green, gray, and black.
Calcite is believed to help amplify thought, improve memory, and increase intellectual capacity.
Each piece is similar, though no item at Crystal Galleries is exactly the same as every item uses a unique stone that is non-fabricated. Every item at Crystal Joys is a true "one of a kind". Slight variations in color, size, and stone shape exist.
