Horse Conch Shell

The Horse Conch (also known as the Florida Horse Conch, or Pleuroploca gigantean) is a large predatory sea snail native to the warm shallow waters of the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico.

The Horse Conch is one of the largest gastropods in the world, reaching lengths up to 24 inches and weighing up to 10 pounds.

The Horse Conch's shell is distinctive and immediately recognizable thanks to its bright orange color and long spire.
