Talk about a quadruple threat! These rare specimens feature a combination of Chalcopyrite, Barite, Calcite, and Pyrite. These specimens display fantastic combination of yellow and white crystals throughout.

Barite is a mineral composed of barium sulfate. This name is in response to barite's high specific gravity of 4.5, which is extraordinary for a nonmetallic mineral. Barite is thought metaphysically to assist with setting boundaries, defining what is important, and strengthening one's memory.

Calcite is a carbonate mineral and the most stable polymorph of calcium carbonate and is a 3 on the Mohs scale. How is calcite formed? Calcite is created by direct precipitation from waters rich in calcium. Calcite metaphysically is believed to improve thought, develop memory, and nurture development.

Chalcopyrite is a copper iron sulfide mineral that crystallizes in the tetragonal system. Chalcopyrite is known to have a brassy to golden yellow color and a hardness of 3.5 to 4 on the Mohs scale. Chalcopyrite is metaphysically thought to aid with curiosity while seeking the desire to understand life, and systematic thinking.

The mineral pyrite, or iron pyrite, also known as fool's gold, is an iron sulfide. Pyrite is considered the most common of the sulfide minerals and is rated between 6 and 6.5 on the Mohs hardness scale. Pyrite's metallic luster and pale brass-yellow hue give it a superficial resemblance to gold, hence the well-known nickname of fool's gold. Metaphysically Pyrite is believed to encourage self-recognition, as well as reveal secrets and memories.
