Golden Phantom Selenite Rough 4.01-9"

These rough specimens of Golden Phantom Selenite, a form of gypsum, is sometimes known as "Utah Ice" They are from the Creamsicle Mine in Utah. It is considered one of the rarest and most unusual forms of Selenite. This product is a natural/rough specimen with a size that varies between 4.01 and  9 inches in length.  These specimens are ethically sourced directly from Emery, Utah. The average weight of the item is 0.5 to 1lb.

Selenite is a variety of gypsum that is usually white, with higher qualities being clear. Selenite can be identified by its straight up and down growth structure. Selenite crystals can grow incredibly large and, in the right environment, can reach 12 meters long and weigh 55 tons. Selenite is thought to reduce irritation and hyperactivity, as well as protect against loss of control.
