Orchid Calcite Polished Pillar

These Orchid Calcite Polished Pillars are a beautiful combination of orange calcite with hints of black tourmaline.  This product is a natural specimen with a size that varies between 3 to 6  inches in height.  These points are ethically sourced directly from Brazil.

Calcite comes from limestone. It is the most stable polymorph of calcium carbonate.It is a carbonate mineral that comes in a range of different shades. Calcite can be clear or white, it can also be brown, red, orange, blue, green, and yellow (among other colors). It has a hardness score of 3-4 and can be found in Brazil, US, Romania, England, Germany, Mexico, and China. Calcite, also called limespar, is a very common rock-forming mineral. The word calcite comes from the Latin calx and the Greek chalix, which means lime. 

It is a stone of insight, clarity, and manifestation, as well as forgiveness. Calcite encourages forgiveness, releasing anger, resentment, arrogance and envy. It facilitates creating inner clarity, initiating multilevel awareness. It is associated with all chakras.
