Lustrous sphalerite combines with sparkling pyrite, chalcopyrite and quartz to create a metallic, monochromatic statement piece. 

Sphalerite is a zinc sulfide mineral. It is found in metamorphic, igneous, and sedimentary rocks in many parts of the world. Sphalerite is the most commonly encountered zinc mineral and the world's most important ore of zinc.

Sphalerite allows one to immediately recognize the peril of a situation, and to balance the benefits and detriments of that situation prior to concluding or continuing one's part. It can also provide for the growth of one's psychic abilities and to encourage one to "be one's own psychic".

The mineral pyrite, or iron pyrite, also known as fool's gold, is an iron sulfide. Pyrite is considered the most common of the sulfide minerals and is rated between 6 and 6.5 on the Mohs hardness scale. Pyrite's metallic luster and pale brass-yellow hue give it a superficial resemblance to gold, hence the well-known nickname of fool's gold. Metaphysically, Pyrite is believed to encourage self-recognition, as well as reveal secrets and memories.
