Herkimer Diamonds are not actually Diamonds but naturally formed six-sided, double-terminated Quartz crystals. Herkimer Diamonds are often so bright and shiny that they resemble Diamonds. The name comes from Herkimer, New York where these gemstones were originally found.  Herkimer Diamonds properties include being called “attunement stones" and are said to be useful in attuning you with others, your surroundings, or new energies. Herkimer Diamonds are often chosen to assist in Reiki attunements and other types of energy work.
