Phantom Quartz with Chlorite-Brazil 8" x 2.5"

This specimen is a phantom Chlorite inside of a large Quartz point. Discovered in Brazil. Measurements are 8.1/4(l) x 2(h) x 3(w) inches. Weighs 2.8lbs. 

Phantom crystals are ghost-like inclusions which show a former growth stage or period of development of the crystal within a crystal. The phantom is composed of white or colored minerals and may be partial or completely formed inside of the quartz crystal.
