Dogtooth Calcite Druzy Crystal Cluster Santa Eulalia Chihuahua, Mexico

Beautiful Dogtooth Calcite Druzy Cluster is a dense clusters of grayish-brown opaque, “dogtooth” crystals.   Dogtooth Calcite Druzy Clusters are calcite, or calcium carbonate. Tight clusters of well developed calcite druzy scalenohedrons coat the top of a dark-brown matrix of hematite. These crystal formations with their long, sharp terminations resembling shape of dog's teeth are what give the crystal its name .  These specimens come from Santa Eulalia Chihuahua, Mexico.
