Millerite on Calcite- Russia 2" x 2" x 1.5"

Shiny golden needles of millerite form a golden crust on the top of the specimen, millerite is growing out of a white calcite matrix. Measurements are about 4 x 3 x .5 inches and Weighs 0.25 lbs. 

Millerite is a nickel sulfide mineral (NiS) that is brassy to gold in colour and has crystals that tend to form needle or hair like aggregates.  Forms in enviroments where abundant nickel is avaliable with sulfur and has beened mined as a source of nickel where concentrated. 

Millerite is said to be quite helpful in stimulating deep meditative states, simulating the intellect, smooths abrasiveness, and helps one to eliminate the negative aspects of the ego.

Calcite has the ability to amplify and cleanse energy, as well as clear and balance the chakras. It can also absorb and transform negative energy. Calcite is a crystal that calms the mind and enhances mental clarity, and it also connects the emotions with the intellect.
