Quartz Cluster with Aegerine, Actinolite, Hematite 9" x 6" x 2"

This is a quartz cluster from Nepal that has aegerine, quartz, actinolite, and hematite elements in the rock structure.  Originally sourced from Nepal, this cluster is a unique and rare mineral that has been Internationally imported.  This specimen measures about 6" in length and about 5" in height and would make a quality statement piece for rock hounds and geology enthusiasts.

Quartz is the second most abundant mineral in Earth's continental crust, behind feldspar, and is rated at a 7 on the Mohs hardness scale. Since antiquity, varieties of quartz have been the most commonly utilized minerals in the making of jewelry and hardstone carvings, especially in Eurasia.
