Black Tourmaline Rough Pendant are a unique and some believe protective addition to your jewelry collection.  Rough Black Tourmaline chunks set in a Silver band that when paired with a silver chain or cord are sure to be a staple.  These Black Tourmaline Pendants are Hand-crafted by a female-owned company in Soledade, Rio Grande Do Sul, Brazil.  

Black Tourmaline is a complex aluminum borosilicate with a hexagonal crystal system with an opaque black color.  Black Tourmaline is found in the United States, Brazil, China, Africa, and Pakistan.  Black Tourmaline is believed to be grounding, purifying, and protecting.  It is thought to eliminate fear, anger, frustration, shame, worry and so many other negative emotions.

Tourmaline is classified as a semi-precious stone and comes in a wide variety of colors. Tourmaline is highly valued for being bi-colored, which means it can have multiple colors in the same specimen. It is thought to be associated with optimism, spirit, imagination, and dreams.
