Mesolimulus Walchi, commonly known as the Horseshoe Crab, is an ancient species belonging to the Upper Jurassic of Melmzetar in Solnhofen, Germany.

This species of horseshoe crab has been around for over 200 million years and is one of the oldest living arthropods on Earth. The species is most commonly found along the coasts of North America, ranging from Maine to Mexico.
