About Orthoceras

Orthoceras were ancient marine cephalopods that lived during the Ordovician Period, approximately 485–443 million years ago. Their name means "straight horn," referring to their long, tapered shells. Considered distant relatives of today's squid and nautiluses, these fascinating creatures once inhabited prehistoric oceans. Many of the finest Orthoceras fossils found today originate from Morocco.

In metaphysical traditions, Orthoceras fossils are believed to represent longevity, stability, and personal growth. They are often associated with grounding energy and are thought to encourage resilience, transformation, and a deeper connection to Earth's ancient history.

Because each tabletop is crafted from natural fossil stone, variations in fossil placement, color, and pattern are expected and celebrated. Every table is a genuine one-of-a-kind piece, showcasing the remarkable artistry of nature.
