This Quartz with Arsenopyrite and Chalcopyrite measures roughly 4" x 2". Arsenopyrite and chalcopyrite are both sulfide minerals that can be found within quartz. Arsenopyrite is a silver-white mineral that contains iron, arsenic, and sulfur. Chalcopyrite is a copper-iron sulfide mineral that can have a brassy yellow to golden color. When present in quartz, these minerals can give the quartz a unique appearance and they may be referred to as "quartz with arsenopyrite and chalcopyrite." These minerals are often associated with copper and gold deposits.

Arsenopyrite is believed to bestow inner warmth and lifts the spirits, and balances all chakras, leaving behind a golden glow.

Chalcopyrite is a copper iron sulfide mineral that crystallizes in the tetragonal system. Chalcopyrite is known to have a brassy to golden yellow color and a hardness of 3.5 to 4 on the Mohs scale. Chalcopyrite is metaphysically thought to aid with curiosity while seeking the desire to understand life, and systematic thinking.

Quartz is one of the most abundant minerals in the world and is rated at a 7 on the Mohs hardness scale. It can be found in many forms such as tumbled, carved and rough. It can develop in a wide range of environments and can be found on every continent. Clear quartz is thought metaphysically to promote understanding, clarity, and is associated with inner strength.
