Gorgeous and unique Black Murex shell measures approximately 3.5x5x4 inches and is a rare find for the any shell admirer or collector.  This Black Murex shell is a beautiful shell in black and white with accents of brown. 

Black Murex as it is commonly known is a species of sea snail.  The Black Murex or  Muricanthus nigritus, the Northern Radix or Black-and-White Murex is most commonly found in the Gulf of California in Mexico and can be over 7 inches.
