Selenite is a variety of gypsum that is usually white, with higher qualities being clear. Selenite can be identified by its straight up and down growth structure. Selenite crystals can grow incredibly large and, in the right environment, can reach 12 meters long and weigh 55 tons. Selenite is thought to reduce irritation and hyperactivity, as well as protect against loss of control.
