Hematite is a mineral form of iron oxide and is usually black or dark grey in color. Quartz is a common mineral made up of silicon and oxygen. Enhydrite is a rare mineral that is composed of hydrous calcium sulfate. It is usually found in association with other minerals such as gypsum, anhydrite, and halite.
From a geological perspective, Hematite over Quartz with Enhydrite Crystals is a unique specimen that formed through a process of mineral deposition. The hematite likely formed as a result of water containing iron ions seeping through the quartz and depositing the hematite on its surface. The Enhydrite crystals likely formed in a similar fashion, with water containing dissolved calcium and sulfate ions precipitating out and forming the Enhydrite crystals on the surface of the specimen.
From a metaphysical perspective, Hematite is believed to have grounding and protective properties. It is said to help with focus and concentration, and to promote a sense of calm and balance. Quartz is believed to have healing properties and to be able to enhance energy and thought. Enhydrite is not well known for its metaphysical properties but it is related to the minerals Gypsum, Anhydrite which are said to bring emotional balance, peace, and tranquility.
