Purple Apatite on Feldspar 7.5" x 5" x 4"

This Purple Apatite Purple on Feldspar measures roughly 7.5" x 5" x 4" and is a large mass of feldspar with a beautiful purple apatite growth. It is a stand alone piece and can be displayed easily in home or office. The feldspar has a step-like surface with interesting lattice with the rare purple apatite is about halfway up the specimen.

Feldspar is one of the most abundant minerals but gem quality crystals are rare. Feldspar is said to help discover unique and thrilling ways to achieve goals by encouraging creative thinking. Metaphysically, Feldspar increases self-love in all aspects.

Apatite is typically found in blue, green, brown, yellow, pink, and violet, although it can also be colorless. Apatite is often mistaken for other minerals. This tendency is reflected in the mineral's name, which is derived from the Greek word απατείν (apatein), which means "to deceive or to be misleading."  Apatite is the defining mineral for 5 on the Mohs scale. Metaphysically, Apatite is thought to assist in motivation, stamina, and communication.
