These pyrite clusters are a natural specimen that are covered in a natural cubic structure, ranging in size from 4 to 8 inches across. These specimens are ethically sourced directly from Peru. The average weight of the item is between .50 and 3 kg.

The mineral pyrite, or iron pyrite, also known as fool's gold, is an iron sulfide. Pyrite is considered the most common of the sulfide minerals and is rated between 6 and 6.5 on the Mohs hardness scale. Pyrite's metallic luster and pale brass-yellow hue give it a superficial resemblance to gold, hence the well-known nickname of fool's gold. Metaphysically Pyrite is believed to encourage self-recognition, as well as reveal secrets and memories.
